Dr. John Triano
Dr. John Triano, DC, PhD graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, Missouri in 1973 and has a PhD in Mechanical Engineering & Applied Mechanics and Spine Biomechanics from the University of Michigan.
He currently serves as Dean, Graduate Education & Research, Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, Toronto, and as an Associate Professor at McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario. Before moving to Canada in 2006 he was Director, Chiropractic Division, Texas Back Institute in Plano, Texas and a Research Professor in the Joint Biomedical Engineering Program at the University of Texas.
His research interests include biomechanics and the development of policy and procedures for clinical quality improvement and measurement of clinical outcome.
Dr. Triano is widely recognized as one of the foremost North American authorities on the conservative management of back pain and served on the AHCPR expert panel for the US Department of Health and Human Services which produced the first national clinical guidelines on back pain, acute low back problems in adults, in 1993.
Dr. Triano acts as Chairman of the OrhtoNeuro Technologies Advisory Board.
