Dr Eugene Lewis

Dr. Lewis is a 1979 graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic and has practiced in Greensboro, North Carolina since 1979. He earned his Master of Public Health degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and his undergraduate degree is in radiologic technology.

Dr. Lewis has served as president of the North Carolina Chiropractic Association, president of the Southeastern Chiropractic Federation and has been a member of the North Carolina State Board of Chiropractic Examiners. He is in his fourth term as a Commissioner of the North Carolina State Radiation Protection Commission, where he serves as chairman.

He has been a benefits advisor to the North Carolina Health Planning Commission. Dr. Lewis was a member of the Commission for Chiropractic Quality Assurance and Practice Parameters, which published the most widely used practice guidelines text for the chiropractic profession. He has been a member of the national practice guidelines development agency, the Council on Chiropractic Guidelines and Practice Parameters since 1997 and was chairman from 2002-2005. He has taught postgraduate courses on the technical aspects of diagnostic imaging for National University of Health Sciences, New York Chiropractic College, Logan College of Chiropractic and other colleges and organizations for over 25 years. Dr. Lewis is a Fellow of the International College of Chiropractors.
